Its rubber construction absorbs vibration while allowing slight flex, helping to protect drivetrain components and ensure smooth power transfer.

Over time, the flex joint can develop cracks or tears, leading to excessive play, noise, or vibration in the drive shaft. Regular inspection is recommended to prevent drivetrain damage.
