This Genuine BMW License Plate Bracket is a brand new, unused original component designed to securely mount the license plate to the vehicle body. It forms part of your BMW’s trim system and ensures proper alignment, stability, and long-term durability.
Earlier versions of this bracket are known to corrode over time, which can cause the mounting hardware to seize. In some cases, the bolts may spin freely with the nuts, making the license plate extremely difficult or impossible to remove without breaking the bracket.
This is the latest BMW revision and is highly recommended as an update. Unlike previous versions, the mounting bolts no longer protrude out the back of the bracket, preventing paint damage to the bumper or mounting surface. This design improvement helps preserve your vehicle’s finish while making future plate removal easier and safer.
