Product Information

Keep your transmission in top working order with periodic servicing. By changing out your transmission fluid and filter, you're removing harmful dirt, sludge, and deposits that typically lead to transmission failure. Installing fresh fluid will renew the additives which will improve your transmission's shift quality and performance while extending its service life.

Transmission Filter Kit
The transmission oil filter plays a critical role by preventing debris and contaminants from reaching sensitive components like the valve body, solenoids, and fluid passages. A clogged or degraded filter can restrict fluid flow, leading to gear engagement problems, delayed or harsh shifts, and even internal pump damage—often signaled by an RPM-dependent whine.

Filter replacement is recommended with every transmission service, especially when major internal components like the torque converter or valve body are replaced.

Transmission Filter Kit Failure Symptoms:
• Whining noise from the transmission pump
• Harsh or delayed shifts
• Loss of gear engagement or driveability issues
