Product Information
This OE quality serpentine belt is responsible for driving multiple engine accessories. Over time, belts can stretch and the ribs may widen, resulting in poor pulley contact. Cracks, frays, or squealing noises are clear indicators of wear. Replacement is typically recommended every 80,000 km (50,000 miles) or 4–5 years. For best results, idler and tensioner pulleys should be replaced at the same time since they wear together with the belt.
Serpentine Belt
The serpentine belt powers your vehicle’s essential accessories including the water pump, alternator, power steering pump, and A/C compressor. Depending on configuration, vehicles may use a single or multiple serpentine belts. Compared to older V-belts, modern serpentine belts deliver long service life with minimal maintenance.
Thanks to advanced materials, modern serpentine belts can last between 80,000–130,000 km (50,000–80,000 miles). When replacing the belt, it is highly advised to inspect and replace pulleys and tensioners at the same time to ensure consistent reliability.
