Product Information

Victor Reinz thermostat housing gasket designed to seal the connection between the thermostat housing and water pump on compatible BMW applications. This gasket helps prevent coolant leakage and maintains proper sealing within the engine cooling system.

Repeated heat cycles and coolant exposure can cause the gasket material to harden, flatten or deteriorate over time. A failed gasket may lead to coolant seepage around the thermostat housing, falling coolant levels, unstable engine temperatures or overheating.

This gasket should be replaced whenever the water pump, thermostat or thermostat housing is removed for service to help ensure a reliable seal during reassembly.
