This Genuine BMW bolt is one of the required fasteners for securing the oil pan to the engine block. It must be replaced whenever the oil pan or its gasket is serviced, as specified by BMW TIS. These bolts are classified as one-time-use torque-to-yield hardware and should not be reused.
Note: Five bolts are required per vehicle. Always replace with new hardware to ensure proper sealing and to prevent oil leaks.
