Product Information

Eldor 750-990012 is an OE-quality direct ignition coil designed to provide consistent spark performance and reliable combustion for BMW engines. It delivers precise voltage output to the spark plugs, ensuring optimal engine efficiency, smooth operation, and reduced emissions.

Faulty or worn ignition coils are a common cause of engine misfires. To confirm a bad coil, swap the suspect coil with another cylinder — if the misfire follows, the coil is defective. Applying dielectric grease during installation helps protect the spark plug boot, improves insulation, and maintains a tight, moisture-resistant seal.

Note: Eldor coils are genuine OE components used in BMW production but do not come in Eldor-branded packaging, as the company has no retail division. Packaging may be plain white or BBT Technologies-branded, with markings such as “750-990012” or “R1705S00100” on the coil body.
