This Genuine BMW S85 Engine Cover Emblem Kit includes the original V10 and M emblems used on the intake plenum of BMW models equipped with the S85 5.0-litre V10 engine.
Heat, age, cleaning chemicals and repeated engine-bay detailing can cause the original emblems to fade, peel, crack or separate from the intake plenum. Replacing both emblems together restores the clean, factory-correct appearance of the S85 engine compartment.
Each emblem features a self-adhesive backing for installation in the original location. As Genuine BMW components, both emblems are manufactured with the correct dimensions, finish, graphics and attachment method for proper factory-style fitment.
Remove the original emblems and carefully clean any remaining adhesive or residue from the mounting surfaces. The surfaces should be clean, dry and free from oil, wax or detailing products before installing the replacements.
Confirm the correct position and alignment before removing the protective backing. Once aligned, press each emblem firmly and evenly against the surface to secure the adhesive.
