The Eventuri Gloss Black Carbon Fiber Airbox Lid is a direct-fit replacement for the factory plastic airbox lid fitted to the BMW E90, E92 and E93 M3 equipped with the S65 V8 engine.
Because the original BMW airbox is already a highly developed component, Eventuri retained the factory intake architecture and focused on refining its visual and acoustic character. The carbon fiber lid replaces only the original upper airbox cover, preserving the established airflow path and factory airbox design.
Manufactured entirely from premium prepreg carbon fiber, the lid provides a substantial engine-bay upgrade while allowing more of the S65 V8's natural induction sound to be heard from the driver's seat.
The deep gloss clear-coated finish highlights Eventuri's signature 2x2 twill carbon weave and visually complements the Eventuri E9X M3 carbon intake system and optional S65 carbon fiber intake plenum.
The rigid carbon fiber construction allows more of the S65 V8's natural induction character to resonate through the airbox. Throttle openings produce a sharper and more pronounced intake note that builds as engine speed increases.
Because the original airbox base and airflow path are retained, the lid enhances the acoustic experience without unnecessarily changing the factory intake configuration or established drivability characteristics.
Final induction volume will vary depending on whether the vehicle uses the factory intake components, Eventuri carbon intake system, Eventuri carbon plenum or other compatible engine modifications.
The airbox lid is manufactured from premium prepreg carbon fiber for consistent wall thickness, structural rigidity and long-term resistance to engine-bay heat.
Its 2x2 twill weave and gloss clear-coated surface provide a deep, uniform finish that coordinates with factory carbon fiber accents and other Eventuri components.
The lid follows the original airbox profile and uses the corresponding factory mounting locations and hardware. This allows it to install as a direct replacement without modifying the original airbox base or surrounding intake components.
The Eventuri carbon fiber airbox lid installs in place of the original plastic lid using the existing BMW mounting points and reusable factory hardware.
During installation, the airbox seal, mounting hardware and surrounding intake components should be inspected for wear or damage. The lid must be positioned evenly and secured without overtightening the fasteners.
