The Eventuri Gloss Black Carbon Fiber Intake Plenum is a direct-fit replacement for the factory plastic plenum fitted to the BMW E90, E92 and E93 M3 equipped with the S65 V8 engine.
Developed to enhance the induction sound and engine-bay appearance of BMW's high-revving 4.0-litre naturally aspirated V8 without compromising its original performance characteristics, the Eventuri plenum retains the internal volume and intake trumpet geometry established by BMW for the S65 engine.
The complete plenum is manufactured from premium prepreg carbon fiber, including the eight internal intake trumpets. Eventuri carefully developed the carbon layup and wall thickness to create a more pronounced resonance profile while preserving the smooth torque delivery, throttle response and drivability of the factory intake system.
The system installs in place of the original plastic plenum and may be used with the factory intake system, the Eventuri E9X M3 carbon intake or other compatible aftermarket intake configurations.
The carbon fiber construction allows more of the S65 V8's natural induction sound to be heard inside and outside the vehicle. Throttle openings produce a sharper and more immediate intake note that develops into an increasingly aggressive motorsport-inspired sound as engine speed rises.
Eventuri refined the carbon fiber wall thickness to achieve an ideal resonance profile for the high-revving S65 engine. The resulting induction character is more pronounced and exotic while retaining the balanced response and naturally aspirated power delivery intended by BMW.
The plenum was developed primarily as an induction-sound and engine-bay enhancement rather than a standalone peak-power upgrade. By preserving the factory plenum volume and internal trumpet dimensions, the system avoids unnecessarily altering the engine's established torque curve and drivability.
Final induction volume will vary depending on whether the vehicle uses the factory intake system, Eventuri carbon intake or another compatible aftermarket intake configuration.
The plenum incorporates eight carbon fiber intake trumpets supported by CNC-machined aluminum flanges for accurate alignment with the S65's individual throttle bodies. Integrated CNC-machined bosses provide the required mounting points for the intake-air-temperature sensor and factory breather connection.
The carbon fiber plenum base and lid are permanently bonded together as a single assembly. This construction provides the rigidity, sealing integrity and resonance characteristics required for consistent operation while maintaining a clean, uninterrupted carbon fiber exterior.
Extensive development was carried out to ensure that the mounting points, sealing surfaces, internal volume and surrounding clearances correspond with the original plenum layout. The result is an OEM-style replacement that integrates seamlessly into the S65 engine bay.
A genuine BMW OE S65 ///M V8 plenum emblem is available as an optional finishing detail. When selected, the emblem is professionally pre-installed before shipping to ensure precise alignment and a clean factory-quality presentation.
The emblem is not included with the standard plenum unless the corresponding emblem option is selected when ordering.
The Eventuri plenum installs in place of the original plastic intake plenum using the corresponding factory mounting locations and connections.
Professional installation is recommended to ensure correct positioning, secure sealing at all eight individual throttle bodies and proper reconnection of the temperature sensor, breather hose and surrounding intake components.
All sealing surfaces and reusable components should be inspected during installation. Worn couplers, seals, hoses or mounting hardware should be replaced as required before the new plenum is installed.
