The Eventuri S85 Carbon Fiber Plenum and V2 Intake Package is a complete induction and engine-bay upgrade for the BMW E60 and E61 M5 and E63 and E64 M6 equipped with the S85 V10 engine.
This package combines the Eventuri carbon fiber intake plenum with the Eventuri V2 carbon fiber intake system to replace the main factory plastic intake components with premium carbon fiber while preserving the factory drivability and high-revving character of the S85 platform.
The carbon fiber plenum replaces the original plastic intake plenum while retaining the internal volume and individual trumpet lengths established by BMW. This preserves the S85 engine's power delivery and low-end torque while creating a much more pronounced induction sound throughout the rev range.
The V2 intake system refines the airflow path before the plenum with integrated carbon fiber MAF housings, dual carbon Venturi filter housings, high-flow filters, dedicated heat shields, coated aluminum scoops and custom EPDM couplers. Together, the components improve airflow efficiency, throttle response and induction character.
The Eventuri V2 intake system was developed to improve airflow efficiency by reducing restriction and smoothing the intake path to the S85 V10. The integrated MAF housings, shorter EPDM couplers and dual Venturi filter housings help improve throttle response and airflow stability.
Eventuri reports performance gains of approximately 12–15 hp and 16–24 Nm (12–18 lb-ft) of torque from the V2 intake system, depending on the vehicle, testing conditions and supporting modifications.
The carbon fiber plenum and intake system allow more of the S85 V10's natural induction sound to be heard inside and outside the vehicle. Throttle openings produce a sharper and more immediate intake note, building into a pronounced motorsport-inspired sound as engine speed increases.
Final performance and sound results may vary depending on vehicle condition, fuel quality, environmental conditions, engine calibration, exhaust configuration and other supporting modifications.
The included plenum is manufactured from premium prepreg carbon fiber and incorporates ten internal carbon fiber intake trumpets supported by CNC-machined aluminum mounting flanges. CNC-machined breather connections provide compatibility with the corresponding factory ventilation components.
The V2 intake system includes integrated carbon fiber MAF housings, dual carbon Venturi filter housings, bespoke high-flow filters, custom EPDM intake couplers, a CNC-machined secondary-air-flow breather adapter, aluminum intake cowls, laser-cut mounting brackets, laser-cut heat shields with neoprene lining and coated aluminum upper and lower air scoops.
All included components are designed to use the corresponding factory mounting locations and connections for a clean, integrated installation.
The package installs using the corresponding factory mounting locations and engine connections. The original intake plenum and factory intake components are removed and replaced with the included Eventuri carbon fiber components.
Professional installation is recommended to ensure correct plenum positioning, secure sealing at all ten individual throttle bodies, correct MAF sensor installation, proper breather routing and adequate clearance around surrounding engine-bay components.
All reusable seals, couplers, hoses, sensors, mounting points and surrounding intake components should be inspected during installation. Worn or damaged components should be replaced as required before the new components are installed.
The included V2 intake system uses two Eventuri Type B replacement air filters. Periodic inspection and servicing are recommended to maintain proper airflow and filtration performance.
