This ignition tune-up kit includes everything needed to refresh your BMW’s ignition system: OE Delphi ignition coils and NGK ILZKBR7B-8DG spark plugs (one heat range cooler). For optimal performance, regap the spark plugs to 0.7mm (0.0275″) for stock setups or 0.56mm (0.022″) for high-boost applications.
Spark plugs degrade over time due to heat, fuel additives, and combustion byproducts, resulting in worn electrodes and buildup that leads to misfires, hesitation, and poor fuel economy. Worn ignition coils may fail to deliver sufficient spark energy, especially under load or during cold starts. Replacing both components ensures a smooth-running engine and restored power.
Note: We recommend purchasing a 14mm 12-point spark plug socket such as CTA-2376 if you don’t already own one.
