This OE INA accessory drive belt tensioner assembly ensures proper belt tension for your BMW’s alternator, A/C compressor, and power steering pump. It keeps your serpentine belt under optimal tension to avoid slippage and noise, ensuring the reliability of your engine's accessory systems.
Over time, the internal spring or pulley bearing may wear out, leading to squealing sounds, slack, or belt hopping. A faulty tensioner can reduce the life of your drive belt and affect accessory performance.
Note: Includes new mounting bolt (BMW PN: 11287530315). Requires T60 Torx for installation. Torque to 25 Nm + 90° (18 ft-lbs + 90°).
This automatic tensioner is spring-loaded to maintain consistent pressure on the serpentine belt, preventing slack and ensuring smooth rotation of all engine-driven accessories. Compatible with many BMW models using OE tensioner designs.
