Product Information

Basic BMW diesel glow plug service kit containing the components required to replace all six glow plugs while servicing the intake components removed during the repair.

Diesel engines rely on compression-generated heat rather than spark plugs for combustion. During cold starts, glow plugs provide additional heat within the combustion chambers to help the engine start reliably and operate smoothly during the initial warm-up period. Worn glow plugs can contribute to difficult cold starts, extended cranking, rough operation after startup and glow plug-related fault codes.

This kit includes six OE Bosch glow plugs, the required Elring intake manifold gaskets and an Elring EGR valve gasket for a complete installation.
