Product Information
Remote ECU flash and coding service for S85-powered BMW M5 and M6 models converted from the factory seven-speed SMG III transmission to a six-speed manual transmission.
The vehicle software is updated for the manual-transmission configuration to support proper starting, drivetrain operation, module communication and fault management following the mechanical conversion.
This service is completed remotely using a compatible programming dongle or BMW ICOM interface. The vehicle does not need to be transported to our workshop, allowing the required programming to be completed from its current location.
The manual conversion must be mechanically and electrically complete before the scheduled programming session. This service does not replace incomplete installation work, wiring repairs or mechanical diagnosis.

Before the Appointment
The six-speed manual conversion must be mechanically and electrically complete before the remote programming session. All required transmission, clutch, hydraulic, wiring, module and driveline work should be completed and checked before the appointment.
The vehicle must maintain stable voltage throughout the programming process. Programming should not be attempted using a weak battery, basic trickle charger or unstable electrical supply.
Wiring problems, low battery voltage, communication faults, defective modules, an incomplete conversion or unrelated vehicle faults may prevent the programming session from being completed successfully.
Additional diagnostics: Diagnostic, troubleshooting or repair work beyond the included manual-swap programming service is billed at our standard labour rate of $150 CAD per hour.
