Product Information

This OE valve cover gasket set from Victor Reinz fits BMW V8 engines and is designed for the right-side bank (cylinders 1–4) on models such as the E38, E39, E53, and E52. It includes the main valve cover gasket but does not come with the valve cover cap nut seals, which are available separately.

  • 11121721879 – Valve Cover Cap Nut Seal (6 required)

This gasket forms a critical seal between the valve cover and cylinder head to prevent oil leaks and protect internal engine components from contamination. Made from high-grade rubber or elastomer materials, it’s engineered to withstand high heat and pressure. In classic engines, cork gaskets may be used, requiring extra care during installation to avoid over-compression.
