Product Information

This OEM valve cover gasket set from Victor Reinz is designed for the left-side cylinder bank (cylinders 5–8) on BMW V8 engines found in models such as the E38, E39, E53, and E52. It includes the complete left-side gasket, helping restore a tight, leak-free seal to your engine’s valve cover. Valve cover cap nut seals are not included and should be ordered separately.

Engine Valve Cover Gasket
The gasket seals the interface between the cylinder head and the valve cover, keeping oil and vapors contained. Made from durable rubber or elastomer compounds, it accommodates heat and movement in the engine. In older cars, cork may be used and requires careful torque during installation.
