This replacement World SourceOne valve cover includes everything needed for a complete install: valve cover, gasket set, 20 mounting bolts, damping elements, shaft seal, and integrated oil separator. This ensures proper sealing and crankcase ventilation on turbocharged BMW engines.

Engine Valve Cover
The valve cover protects the valvetrain and helps contain oil and vapors. On modern BMW engines, it also integrates the PCV system to regulate crankcase pressure and minimize oil vapor emissions. A warped or cracked valve cover must be replaced to restore performance and prevent oil leaks.

Failure Symptoms:

  • Age and wear: Gaskets lose elasticity and begin to leak oil over time.
  • Improper installation: Uneven torque or poor fitment can compromise the seal.
  • Material fatigue: High engine temperatures can cause plastic valve covers to warp or crack.
