This ZF OE automatic transmission service kit includes the oil pan with integrated filter, oil pan gasket, new pan bolts, and fill plug—providing everything required for a complete transmission fluid service.
Although BMW advertises "lifetime fill" for their automatic transmissions, regular fluid changes are critical to ensure long-term reliability and smooth operation. Transmission fluid lubricates and cools internal components just like engine oil, and should not be considered maintenance-free.
Note: This updated ZF transmission oil pan assembly now features a Hengst-manufactured filter element (previously Filtran), so the appearance of the pan and filter may differ from earlier versions.
