This OE INA accessory drive belt tensioner assembly is designed to maintain consistent tension on your BMW’s serpentine belt. If your engine belt is squeaking or showing signs of slack, a failing tensioner could be the cause. Replacing the tensioner often resolves tension-related belt noise and prevents premature belt wear or detachment.
Note: Torque specification for the included mounting bolt is 40 Nm (30 ft-lbs). The center cap for the pulley is not included but can be reused from your existing tensioner or replaced with BMW part number 11281435114.
