A basic service kit that will allow you to service your BMW's Getrag GS7D36BG or GS7D36SG dual clutch transmission.
BMW claims that the dual clutch transmission does not require fluid changes or services. However, most repair professionals and avid enthusiasts agree that while the fluid fill has long-life properties, it still needs to be replaced over time. Cars that are driven hard will benefit more from regular transmission servicing.
This kit is designed for a basic drain and fill service. Without a GT1 or equivalent diagnostic tool, it is impossible to extract all of the fluid from the transmission. Performing this drain and fill does not require any special tools or equipment, making it a convenient and safer alternative to full transmission flushes.
