Product Information
Genuine GEMS transmission cooler and oil pump port plug kit for the BMW GS6-53BZ-TJGC six-speed manual transmission originally fitted to the S65-powered E9X M3. Designed for manual swap applications where the factory external transmission oil pump, oil cooler and associated lines are not retained.
The original E9X M3 transmission cooling system leaves dedicated oil cooler and pump connections on the transmission. When this transmission is installed in another chassis without the factory E9X M3 cooling circuit, these unused ports must be properly closed and sealed.
Each Genuine GEMS plug is precisely machined from aluminum to match the corresponding factory transmission port, mounting location and sealing surface. The kit provides a compact, secure solution that properly closes the unused connections while maintaining a clean, purpose-built appearance.
The cooler port plugs seal using the included O-rings. The oil pump port plug installs against a new Genuine BMW Oil Pump Gasket, part number 11417836233, which is also included with the kit.
Installation uses the original transmission mounting provisions and does not require permanent modification of the transmission housing. This allows the original E9X M3 oil pump and cooler system to be reinstalled in the future if required.
Kit contents: Machined aluminum cooler port plugs, machined aluminum oil pump port plug, cooler port O-rings and Genuine BMW Oil Pump Gasket 11417836233.
Please note: Intended for swap applications using the BMW E9X M3 GS6-53BZ-TJGC transmission where the original external transmission oil pump and cooler system will not be retained. Confirm your transmission identification before ordering.
