6-Speed Manual / SMG-to-Manual Conversion
Genuine BMW remanufactured manual-transmission driveshaft for BMW E60 M5 Sedan and E61 M5 Touring models equipped with, or being converted to, the six-speed manual transmission. Based on BMW manual driveshaft part number 26112283210, the assembly provides the correct manual-transmission driveshaft configuration between the gearbox and rear differential for S85 manual applications.
Each driveshaft is built from a Genuine BMW used core. The complete assembly is inspected, cleaned and prepared for reuse. The original universal joint is inspected and serviced but is not replaced as part of the standard remanufacturing process.
For long-term durability and serviceability, the Genuine BMW metal driveshaft remains our shop-proven choice for S85 applications. Unlike many carbon-fiber alternatives, it does not rely on a composite tube bonded into separate metal end fittings, removing a potential critical failure point under repeated torque, heat cycling and impact.

This product is offered with two core charge options depending on the return status of your original SMG driveshaft.
Core Deposit (Refundable)
This option includes the core deposit. Select this in most cases.
The deposit is refunded once your original SMG driveshaft has been returned and inspected.
Core Already Returned (No Deposit)
Select this only if your original SMG driveshaft has already been returned to us or is being returned at the time of local pickup or installation.
Required core: Complete Genuine BMW E60 / E61 M5 SMG driveshaft, part number 26112282720.
The returned core must include its original tube, flanges and attached components. Bent, cut, cracked or incomplete driveshafts may not qualify for a full core refund.
