Remote ECU Flash and Coding
Remote ECU flash and coding service for S85-powered BMW M5 and M6 models converted from the factory seven-speed SMG III transmission to a six-speed manual.
The vehicle software is updated for the manual-transmission configuration to support proper starting, operation and fault management after the conversion.
This service is completed remotely using a compatible programming dongle or BMW ICOM interface. The vehicle does not need to be brought to our workshop.
Please note: The programming interface is not included unless selected separately. Contact us before ordering to confirm that your dongle or ICOM is compatible.
The manual conversion must be mechanically complete before the remote session. Wiring problems, low battery voltage, existing module faults or an incomplete conversion may prevent programming or require additional diagnostic work.
Additional diagnostics: Any diagnostic or troubleshooting work beyond the included programming service is billed at our standard labour rate of $150 CAD per hour.
