This Bosch OEM direct ignition coil is a replacement for worn or failing coils in BMW vehicles. It plays a crucial role in generating the voltage needed to ignite the air-fuel mixture via the spark plug. A weak or failing coil is a common cause of engine misfires and poor performance.

Installation Notes:
Newer Bosch coils feature an updated design that does not snap into place like older versions. Instead, a contact spring ensures secure connection at the spark plug tip. For best results, apply a small amount of dielectric grease to each boot before installation to help seal out moisture and ensure a snug fit.
