Product Information

This complete engine oil service kit provides everything needed to perform a proper oil change on your BMW, helping maintain optimal engine performance and long-term reliability.

Regular oil changes are one of the most important maintenance items for your engine. Over time, engine oil breaks down, collects contaminants, and loses its ability to properly lubricate internal components. Replacing the oil at proper intervals helps prevent sludge buildup, reduces wear, and ensures consistent engine operation.

Recommended service interval: every 8,000 to 11,000 km (5,000 to 7,000 miles) depending on driving conditions and usage.

Installation notes: The oil filter cap should be torqued to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft). The drain plug is also torqued to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft). Always ensure the old crush washer is removed before installing the new one. A 32 mm 6-point socket is required for proper oil filter cap removal.

Common signs service is required: dark or dirty oil, engine knocking or ticking noises, increased engine temperature, reduced fuel efficiency, smoke from the exhaust, or maintenance warning lights on newer vehicles.

Performing your own oil change not only saves money compared to dealer or shop service, but also ensures the correct parts and fluids are used for your engine.
