La pompe à eau de votre moteur BMW est responsable de la circulation continue du liquide de refroidissement à travers le moteur et le système de refroidissement. Avec l'âge, son roulement interne et son joint peuvent s'user, provoquant du bruit, un jeu de l'arbre, des fuites de liquide de refroidissement ou une circulation réduite du liquide de refroidissement.

Les fuites de liquide de refroidissement du trou de purge de la pompe à eau sont une indication courante que le joint interne est défectueux. Un roulement usé peut également provoquer un mouvement de l'arbre de la poulie ou des bruits de grincement et de sifflement lorsque le moteur tourne.

Fonction de la pompe à eau du moteur :
La pompe à eau assure la circulation continue du liquide de refroidissement à travers le moteur et le radiateur. Si elle tombe en panne, une surchauffe peut rapidement survenir, risquant d'endommager le moteur.
