The Eventuri Gloss Carbon Fiber Intake Duct Set is a direct-fit replacement for the factory plastic air ducts fitted to the BMW E90, E92 and E93 M3 equipped with the S65 V8 engine.
Designed as an OEM-style engine-bay enhancement, the duct set preserves the airflow strategy established by BMW while replacing the original plastic components with premium prepreg carbon fiber.
During development, Eventuri evaluated the use of forward-facing intake scoops but found no measurable performance advantage because of the limited opening between the ducts and factory airbox. Retaining the original duct layout also keeps the front grille openings unobstructed, allowing consistent airflow to reach the radiator and supporting balanced engine cooling.
The system includes an upgraded EPDM joining coupler featuring Eventuri's raised “V” logo. This replaces the original flexible connection with a more durable component while providing a cleaner and more cohesive appearance.
The ducts are manufactured from high-quality prepreg carbon fiber for consistent wall thickness, structural rigidity and resistance to engine-bay heat.
Their shape follows the original BMW duct geometry to maintain the intended airflow path between the front grille area and the airbox. This allows the ducts to integrate seamlessly with the factory intake system while avoiding unnecessary restriction to radiator airflow.
The gloss carbon fiber finish complements the Eventuri E9X M3 intake system, carbon airbox lid and S65 carbon fiber plenum, allowing the individual components to create a coordinated engine-bay appearance.
The Eventuri carbon fiber duct set installs in place of the original plastic ducting using the corresponding factory mounting locations and connections.
The supplied EPDM coupler replaces the original flexible joining section and provides a secure connection between the ducts and associated intake components.
Professional installation is recommended to ensure correct duct alignment, secure coupler placement and adequate clearance around the radiator support, airbox and surrounding engine-bay components.
