This VNE suspension strut mount nut is an OE supplier replacement hardware component used in several BMW suspension applications.
The M8-8 ZNS3 nut is used to secure suspension components where proper clamping force and fastener retention are required. Hardware in suspension areas is exposed to vibration, road impact, corrosion and repeated load changes, making correct replacement important during service.
Self-locking or deformed-thread suspension hardware should be replaced after removal. Once the locking feature has been compressed during installation, it may not provide the same retention strength if reused.
