The Eventuri Matte Black Carbon Fiber Intake Plenum is a direct-fit replacement for the factory plastic plenum fitted to the BMW E90, E92 and E93 M3 equipped with the S65 V8 engine.
Developed to transform the induction sound of the high-revving 4.0-litre V8 without compromising the original power delivery or drivability, the Eventuri plenum retains the internal volume and intake trumpet geometry established by BMW for the S65 engine.
The complete plenum is manufactured from premium prepreg carbon fiber, including the eight internal intake trumpets. Its rigid construction, precision-machined mounting hardware and carefully developed geometry provide factory fitment while creating a significantly more pronounced induction note throughout the rev range.
The matte carbon fiber finish provides a subtle motorsport-inspired appearance with reduced surface reflectivity compared with gloss carbon. The system installs in place of the original plenum and may be used with the factory intake system, the Eventuri E9X M3 intake system or most compatible aftermarket intake systems.
The carbon fiber construction and redesigned plenum assembly allow more of the S65 V8's natural induction sound to be heard inside and outside the vehicle. Throttle openings produce a sharper and more immediate intake note, building into a pronounced motorsport-inspired sound as engine speed increases.
Eventuri developed the plenum primarily as an induction-sound and engine-bay enhancement rather than a standalone power upgrade. By retaining the original internal volume and trumpet specifications, the system preserves the balanced power delivery and drivability intended by BMW.
Final induction volume will vary depending on whether the vehicle uses the factory intake system, Eventuri intake system or another compatible aftermarket intake configuration.
Each plenum incorporates eight carbon fiber intake trumpets supported by CNC-machined aluminum flanges for accurate alignment with the individual throttle bodies. CNC-machined sensor and breather connections provide compatibility with the corresponding factory components.
The carbon fiber plenum base and lid are permanently bonded together as a single assembly. This construction provides the rigidity, sealing integrity and resonance characteristics required for consistent operation while maintaining a clean, uninterrupted carbon fiber exterior.
Extensive development was carried out to ensure that the mounting points, sealing surfaces, internal volume and surrounding clearances match the original plenum specifications. The result is a seamless replacement that maintains the factory intake layout while providing the appearance and induction character of a complete carbon fiber assembly.
The Eventuri plenum installs in place of the original plastic intake plenum using the corresponding factory mounting locations and connections.
Professional installation is recommended to ensure correct positioning, secure sealing at all eight individual throttle bodies and proper reconnection of the temperature sensor, breather hose and surrounding intake components.
All sealing surfaces and reusable components should be inspected during installation. Worn couplers, seals, hoses or mounting hardware should be replaced as required before the new plenum is installed.
