This Genuine BMW Steering Rack (Remanufactured) manual-transmission driveshaft for BMW E60/E61 M5 models equipped with the factory six-speed manual transmission or being converted from SMG to manual. Developed around the original BMW manual driveshaft, part number 26112283210, this assembly provides the correct configuration required to connect the manual transmission to the rear differential.
Each driveshaft is built from a Genuine BMW used core and serviced before being supplied. The assembly is inspected, cleaned and prepared for reuse, with the universal joint only being serviced and not replaced as part of the remanufacturing process.
Please note: This is a remanufactured Genuine BMW component and is not sold as a brand-new driveshaft. Cosmetic signs of previous installation, storage or normal use may remain, including minor surface marks or finish wear. These cosmetic characteristics do not affect the intended fitment or function of the assembly.

The returned core must be a complete Genuine BMW SMG driveshaft corresponding to part number 26112282720. The driveshaft must include its original tube, flanges and attached serviceable components. Cores with severe impact damage, a bent or cut tube, cracked flanges, missing sections or extensive corrosion may not qualify for a full core refund.
After receiving the remanufactured manual driveshaft, securely package the original SMG driveshaft using the packaging supplied with your order whenever possible. Include your order number and contact information with the return.
The customer is responsible for returning the core unless otherwise specified at checkout. The refundable core deposit is issued after the returned driveshaft has been received, identified and inspected.
Please note: The core returned must be the SMG driveshaft, BMW part number 26112282720. The remanufactured manual driveshaft supplied under this listing must not be returned as the core.
