Ce capteur de pression absolue du collecteur d'admission (MAP) d'origine BMW joue un rôle essentiel dans la surveillance de la suralimentation et la gestion précise du moteur. En mesurant la pression dans le collecteur d'admission, il permet au calculateur de calculer la densité de l'air et d'optimiser l'alimentation en carburant et le calage de l'allumage. Un capteur MAP défaillant peut perturber cet équilibre, entraînant une mauvaise réponse de la suralimentation ou des problèmes de ralenti, notamment sur les moteurs turbocompressés.

Capteur de pression absolue du collecteur
Le capteur MAP est un élément essentiel du système de gestion moteur de votre véhicule. Il fournit des données en temps réel au calculateur moteur afin de maintenir un mélange air-carburant idéal quelles que soient les conditions de charge, favorisant ainsi l'efficacité, le contrôle des émissions et la maniabilité.

Symptômes d'échec :

  • Témoin de contrôle du moteur : souvent le premier signe d'un dysfonctionnement du capteur MAP.
  • Mauvaises performances du moteur : puissance réduite, hésitation ou accélération lente en raison de lectures incorrectes de suralimentation ou de mélange.
  • Ralenti irrégulier ou calage : causé par un retour de pression du collecteur inexact perturbant les calculs de l'ECU.
