The CSF High-Performance Radiator is a direct-fit cooling upgrade for the BMW E60 and E61 M5 and E63 and E64 M6 equipped with the S85 V10 engine.

Although the factory radiator is a robust all-aluminum unit, age, hard driving and increased engine output can eventually push its cooling capacity beyond its limits. Supercharged vehicles place even greater demand on the cooling system because of the additional heat produced by forced induction and the heat exchanger positioned in front of the radiator.

CSF upgrades the original design with a 2-row, 42 mm aluminum core that increases coolant capacity and improves heat dissipation. Six additional rows of cooling tubes and fins provide significantly greater cooling performance than the factory radiator.

CSF's exclusive B-Tube Technology increases heat transfer by approximately 15% compared with conventional oval welded tubes. Ultra-efficient 6.5 mm multi-louvered fins maximize surface-area contact and airflow through the core for improved cooling during street, track and forced-induction use.

Cooling Performance

The thicker 2-row core, additional cooling rows and high-efficiency fin design allow the radiator to dissipate more heat than the original unit. This makes it well suited for restored vehicles, spirited street driving, track use and supercharged S85 applications.

Improved cooling capacity helps maintain more consistent coolant temperatures when the engine is operating under sustained load or when airflow through the radiator is partially restricted by a front-mounted supercharger heat exchanger.

Installation and Warranty

The radiator installs in the factory mounting location using CNC-machined brackets and original-style quick-connect fittings. It is designed as a true plug-and-play, drop-in replacement and requires no cutting or permanent modifications.

Each radiator is individually leak and pressure tested before shipment and is covered by a two-year limited manufacturer warranty.
