The NRW-Design S65 Aluminum Valve Cover Set is a direct-fit performance and reliability upgrade for the 2008–2013 BMW E90, E92 and E93 M3 equipped with the naturally aspirated S65 V8 engine.

This complete left and right valve-cover set replaces the original BMW magnesium valve covers with OE numbers 11127848153 and 11127848154. It retains the factory mounting locations and is designed to work with the original ignition, ventilation and sealing components.

The factory magnesium valve covers can develop cracks, distortion and sealing-surface irregularities after years of repeated heat cycles. These issues may contribute to persistent oil leaks, vacuum leaks and repeated gasket failures even after the valve-cover gaskets have been replaced.

NRW-Design replaces the aging factory covers with durable A383 aluminum valve covers engineered to provide increased strength, improved dimensional stability and long-term resistance to engine-bay heat.

Each cover incorporates internal oil-control baffling and is supplied with stainless steel installation hardware and pre-installed alignment dowels. A wide selection of textured, smooth, factory-inspired and custom finishes allows the covers to provide both a lasting mechanical repair and a substantial visual upgrade to the S65 engine bay.

Installation

The NRW-Design aluminum valve covers install in place of the original left and right magnesium covers using the factory mounting locations. The supplied stainless steel hardware and pre-installed alignment dowels support a direct and properly aligned installation.

Professional installation is recommended. The valve-cover gaskets, spark plug tubes, ventilation connections, ignition coils and surrounding seals should be inspected during installation and replaced as required.

All gasket surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned and prepared before assembly. Hardware should be tightened evenly and according to the applicable installation procedure to avoid damaging the covers, gaskets or cylinder-head threads.
