Product Information

OE Valeo alternator supplied new with no core charge. The alternator powers the vehicle’s electrical systems while the engine is running and maintains the battery charge during operation. A worn or failing alternator can cause low voltage, battery drain, and electrical system issues.

Alternator

The vehicle battery stores enough energy to start the engine, while the alternator supplies electrical power once the engine is running. It supports systems such as lighting, interior electronics, accessories, and battery charging. Before replacing an alternator, charging voltage can be checked with a digital volt meter, and the alternator belt should also be inspected for proper tension and condition.
