The Supersprint F1 Race Rear Exhaust Set is a direct-fit performance upgrade for the BMW E60 M5 Sedan and E61 M5 Touring equipped with the S85 V10 engine, replacing the original left and right rear mufflers with a lighter, freer-flowing race-oriented configuration.
Designed to reduce restriction through the rearmost section of the exhaust system, the F1 Race mufflers allow the S85 V10 to breathe more freely while delivering a louder, sharper and more aggressive exhaust character.
Both rear sections are made in Italy from premium T304 stainless steel for long-term durability, corrosion resistance and dependable performance under high-temperature operating conditions. Four 80 mm race tips provide a purposeful appearance that complements the M5 rear bumper.
The F1 Race rear exhaust gives the S85 V10 a significantly louder, sharper and more motorsport-inspired exhaust character than the factory rear mufflers. Its freer-flowing internal design allows more of the engine's mechanical tone and high-RPM intensity to pass through the exhaust system.
Compared with Supersprint's standard rear exhaust options, the F1 Race configuration prioritizes reduced restriction, lower weight and a more aggressive sound. Increased cabin resonance may be present depending on the center section and remaining exhaust configuration.
Final sound and volume will vary depending on the exhaust manifolds, catalytic converters, front pipes, center section and any additional exhaust modifications installed on the vehicle.
The rear exhaust set installs in place of the original left and right mufflers using the corresponding factory mounting locations and compatible exhaust connections.
Professional installation is recommended to ensure correct alignment, secure connections, even exhaust-tip positioning and proper clearance around the rear bumper, heat shields and surrounding components.
The F1 Race design produces substantially more exhaust volume than the factory system. Exhaust sound regulations vary by location, and the purchaser is responsible for confirming that the completed exhaust configuration complies with all applicable local sound and road-use requirements.
